Exercise Plus Proteins – The Perfect Formula For Great Health

Are you feeling tired and looking listless the whole day? Have you looked into the mirror lately and find yourself disgusted with the amount of weight that you have put on? Many blame it on the “middle age syndrome”. But the fact is, your health has got very little to do with age. Let’s see if this is true.

If you take a good look around you, you start to notice that many of your friends and colleagues may be overweight as well. So you assume that it’s only natural to be putting on weight. It’s just age catching up with them. But the truth is, you are probably looking at the wrong places for the answers that you are looking for.

Most of your friends are probably working in offices and leading a sedentary lifestyle – just like you. So it’s only logical to assume that they face similar problems as you do. The key here is to accept that you are looking in the wrong direction, and look elsewhere for answers. So where do you look?

Try going to the gym. You will be surprised at how young some of these fitness enthusiasts look. A fit person whose real age is 50 can look 10 years younger – easily. Now you go, “Yah right, they have all the right genes. They are born fit.”

While it is true that genes matter when it comes to fitness, you can’t really attribute everything you see to genes. Some people are built short and stocky. They put on mass and fat easily. Some have average builds. Then there are others who can’t seem to put on weight no matter what they do.

Fitness experts recognize and accept the fact that your genetic makeup does make a difference in your level of fitness. But they also know that if you do nothing to maintain your fitness, your health will only get from bad to worse. The inevitable happens regardless of your genetic makeup. So the only correct response is to adopt a positive attitude and start building up your fitness. Having a unique genetic makeup only means that you need a customized exercise program and diet plan.

That’s the formula for great health – exercise plus diet.

Diet here doesn’t mean that you start eating less and less. On the contrary, you should be eating more and more. That is because you are burning calories from your exercise program and you need to eat well in order to grow your muscles. More muscle mass leads to higher metabolism. And that is the result you want to achieve.

The more muscle you have, the more fat you burn, even while you are resting. That’s why fit people rarely put on excessive weight. They just burn away too much! Load up your proteins and start boosting your metabolism.

5 Great Health Mistakes – Here’s How To Never Have Incredible Health!

We have a love/hate relationship with health. We desperately want it – great looking bodies, eat whatever we want, never get sick, never have to see a doctor or go to the hospital, and of course, live forever disease-free.

But we hate being told we have to do anything to be healthy. We hate having to watch what we eat and watch our weight. We hate (or resist) having to exercise, and we hate that we should, heaven forbid, have to learn anything about how to be healthy or put forth any effort to achieve it. Let’s face it – we feel entitled to be healthy – it’s our birthright. Here’s 5 Tips to have it your way!

5 TIPS To Never Have Great Health

1. Always Trust Your Doctor- Never give it a second thought that he knows very little about what causes disease or how to prevent them. Never figure out that he treats your symptoms, and puts band-aids on them, so they kind of disappear, or he masks them with drugs that in many cases, are worse for you than the condition you have. And never, ever, figure out that he is part of one of the biggest money-machines in history – ka-ching for him!

2. Always Believe If It’s Made To Be Eaten, It’s Good For You. Believe that as long as you eat until you are over-full, it doesn’t make much difference what it is. Believe that your body can become super healthy on Twinkies and Cheetos, Gummy Worms and M & M’s, greasy hamburgers and steaks, deep fried everything, anything super-sized, and anything covered with sugar, dipped in sugar, or filled with sugar.

3. Always Remember to eat from The Four Major Food Groups. For one celebrity they were a pound of Bacon, a loaf of French Bread, Peanut Butter and Banana, and he made them into the Great Jumpsuit-Expanding Elvis Sandwich. For some people they are Sweet, Salty, Fried, and Au Gratin. For others it’s Lattes, Chocolate, Ice Cream, and Croissants. What are yours? Any four food groups will do – don’t be bashful.

4. Never Ever Invest Any Time Learning About What Foods Do To Your Body. Remember, cars run just as well on kerosene, 10-40, or diesel in the gas tank, just like our bodies run just as well on empty calories, Big Macs, and Rock-Star drinks. Just pour it in, and punch the gas pedal. And now, the last tip for never getting great health (thankfully),

5. You Can Make Up For A Lifetime Of Crappy Health In Your Last Six Months. Some people invest more time planning their vacations than they do their life. Let’s join that club! If anything is not important, it’s certainly not our health. So, eat, drink, and be merry – and paying the piper be damned. He can pay for his own chemotherapy or triple bypass, or whatever else he wants.

Until next time, To Your Incredible Health,

Pinkberry Yogurt – That Tangy Flavor With Great Health Benefits For Your Diet

The Pinkberry franchise is popular for reviving the 1980s yogurt craze in today’s society. Founded by the partnership of two Korean Americans Shelly Huang and Young Lee in 2005, the franchise has grown to several stores thanks to its popularity. Pinkberry’s menu consists of several flavors of frozen yogurt combined with fresh fruit. The sweet and tangy taste has attracted a cult following in its debut and still gains more fans for every year of operation up to present. Aside from the distinct and delicious flavor of Pinkberry yogurt it also has great health benefits for everyone who tries it.

Yogurt naturally has beneficial health components. It is filled with live micro organisms or bacteria that help the digestive system in many ways. Since the digestive system is responsible for getting nutrients for the body yogurt’s bacterial content helps make the whole system function better. Pink berry yogurt has a good amount of these micro organisms plus all ingredients used are fat-free. The largest serving you could get will give you a maximum of 250+ calories enough to get you through lunch hour but without any fat at all. This is perfect for people watching their weight because it allows them to eat great tasting food in large proportions without getting any fat.

As we all know fat is the most difficult calorie to burn since the hierarchy is carbohydrates, protein, and then fat. Substituting yogurt with other desserts would make anyone’s weight loss diet more effective. Pinkberry yogurt has several branches all over the United States so getting to a shop is not a problem. The variety of flavors will be sure to hit the spot for any yogurt cravings. A note though although the yogurt is a great fat free meal it is important to only consider it as part of your diet and not go overboard with a yogurt only menu.
